Massage Therapy has experienced over 45% growth in three years. Over 87% of our graduates are currently working in the field.
Of the 27% of Americans who have received a massage in the last 5 years, 35% got their last massage for medical reasons. (AMTA survey, 2001). 31% of Americans were referred to a massage therapist by a chiropractor, and a physician referred 26%. (AMTA survey, 2001). Insurance companies are beginning to provide partial or full coverage for massage therapy.
